Mayank obtained his Medical (MBBS) degree in 1984 and then trained and qualified as an orthopaedic surgeon in 1988. He followed this up with a Masters in Orthopaedics from the University of London and then became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) from the royal college in England.

He has been working as an NHS surgeon since 1991. He developed an interest in non operative facial aesthetics about 10 years ago to support and complement his wife’s dental practice patients.
​
After the necessary training and qualifications Mayank not only treating patients but also became a trainer to teach others in the art of toxin and filler injections. He believes in ethical and evidence based products and treatment.
​
When not working he looks after his successful businesses, which include care homes and authentic Indian restaurants. He is also interested in antique furniture and vintage car restoration.
